The Higher Education Summit is a statewide event for any faculty and staff who are committed to fighting for a fully funded, inclusive UW system. The summit will be held on September 22, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the UW-Madison Memorial Union. Space is limited to 72 participants, so register for free today!

The summit will feature activists from other states who have faced attacks on academic freedom and a guided set of conversations on tactics as we organize to defend our public universities. We will discuss the challenges facing the UW System, share best practices from the labor movement, and develop a plan of action for the future.

The event is open to all educators whether or not you are a member of AFT-Wisconsin.
